I was born in Legnano and grew up in Santo Stefano Ticino, a small town in the western outskirts of Milan.
After completing high school with a focus on languages, I graduated in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology in 2009 at the University of Milano–Bicocca, under the supervision of Prof. Costanza Papagno.
In 2010, at the same university, I began a PhD in Experimental Psychology, Linguistics, and Cognitive Neuroscience. During my doctoral studies, I spent one year as a visiting researcher at the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Göttingen, under the supervision of Prof. Walter Paulus and Andrea Antal. I defended My PhD thesis in 2014.
From 2015 to 2018, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Psychology of the University of Milano–Bicocca, where I was appointed Assistant Professor in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience in 2018. Since 2021, I have held the position of Associate Professor at the same department, which is my current role.
